Ped recs in St Paul (Como-Midway-Grand area)

Just as subject states. Looking for a ped recommendation - any good ones? Doesn't matter if it is Allina, HP, etc. Thanks!

We go to Dr. Leann West at HP Midway as our primary, and we've also seen Dr. Kimberly Rathmann a few times.  It's not the fanciest clinic in the world, but we like both doctors a lot.

We go to Fairview Children's on University Ave (near the U of M campus) and see Dr. Chun - he's been great! There are many good doctors in that practice.

We see Dr. Huynh at the HealthEast Grand Ave Clinic. Great doctor, laid back, friendly and dd really likes him.

Hands Down!  Central Peds.  They are awesome!  My siblings and I had them as docs ourselves and our kids and now going too!  All of the docs are fabulous and have years of experience.  We see Dr. Jaeger.  They also welcome same day walk-ins, urgent care hours and other services.  They welcome "interviews and consults".  (If you are like me and ask a million questions in order to strive for the best)  Awesome!

Mich411 - Thanks for the recommendation. And yes, I'm Type A and anal. Every person that responded so far, I've gone to the website, read their bios, etc. LOL. Central Peds is really close to me - I'm assuming it's that building with the pizza hut on the corner built into it? (or close?) Checking it out. Thanks!

My 3 boys go to Central Peds too.  We have Dr Ritchart but have dealt with several others as well.   Their extended hours & other Woodbury location is convienent for us.

Another vote for Central Peds.  We use the Woodbury location but they are awesome!

Miri and I go to United Family Practice on the corner of W. 7th and Randolph.  I've seen Dr. Inoue since I moved to the cities in 2005.  Due to various medical problems and my awesome care, I chose to keep her as my primary preggo doc even though she's a GP and not an OB.  Last year she was rated by MSP Mag as one of the top family docs in the cities in a poll generated by other docs.  She is now going to be Miri's doc and we couldn't be more thrilled!
