Update - Beta is Friday 10/15  I'm not sure how I feel about this cycle.  I have not POAS yet which is unlike me. 

 

QOTD- I have a pirate getup that I wear using my wench garb.  DH and I used to go to the PA ren faire every weekend (now we only get there 2-3 times a year).   I have a leather bodice and wrap skirt and all the accessories to make me a rockin pirate

QOTD:  My favorite costume was last year - we dressed as zombie bride and groom.  I found a wedding dress at a garage sale and shredded it.  It was so much fun!

Update: Waiting waiting waiting for Friday.  I don't want to test ahead of time.  I go through various emotions - excitement for a possible BFP and anger toward people that have it easy who don't have to go through IF.

QOTD: I dress up every year for parties. Last year has to be my more recent favorites. We did a Alice in Wonderland theme. I was the Mad Hatter and DH was the white rabbit. My friends filled in the rest of the characters. Alice has always been one of my favorite stories!

Update on me: I guess you can put me in between cycles. IVF#3 is on hold until 2011 when we figure out our insurance situation I'm trying an IUI with injectibles just to pass the time.... it sucks.

Update: My ovaries are still not cooperating and I failed my 4th suppression check.  I will get my e2 levels today, continue with Lupron and wait for another AF (my lining is too thick still).  I will go in once a week in the meantime to keep checking on things.  I'm very frustrated, but there isn't a whole lot I can do but hurry up and wait.  Ugh.

Update: I had my first 2 beta draws, and got the results yesterday. Beta @ 7dp5dt: 42 and 9dp5dt: 118.  Given my history of m/c, I am "cautiously excited", so I didn't do an individual post about it.  Beta #3 on 10/15, and beta #4 on 10/21 (my 31st birthday). Please let this be my sticky baby.

QOTD: I love putting on my wedding dress and doing crazy hair and making my face look like I am dead, like a zombie bride.  I get to wear my wedding dress once per year and the trick or treaters seem to like it.  But I don't know if I will do that this year.  I LOVE Halloween though!

Update:  Had another u/s and bloodwork this morning.  I'll get the call this afternoon to see if I trigger or continue with stims.  Not sure how many measurable follies I have right now, but it was eight two days ago.

Good news is that DH comes home tomorrow evening, so he will be home for the ER

QOTD:  A few years ago DH and I went as Anna Nicole Smith and the really old guy she was married to (this was before she died).  It was really fun. DH was in a wheel chair and we had a "will" sticking out of his pocket, etc.  I had a blonde wig (I do not look good as a blonde!) and I bought a huge bra and stuffed it with socks.  A weird guy at the party asked my friend if my chest was real. . . it was akward.

Update:   Nothing new.  Just coasting through this cycle.  I had my secon acupuncture appointment yesterday!  It was great!  I already can't wait to start stims.  So, I am hoping that this cycle doesn't go long so I can start BCPs for IVF #2!!

QOTD:  I dressed up as a pirate wench a few years ago.  At the time, I was dating MH and he was supposed to go to a party with me (he was going to be a pirate).  But, his mother was sick and died shortly after Halloween.  We aren't big on dressing up.  One day, I hope we have kids and can dress up with them.  My sister and her family were all star wars characters last year.  It was great!

September2007 - started BCP on 10/8 / IVF consult tomorrow to discuss treatment plan

QOTD: in middle school, 5 girlfriends and I went as the game of yahtzee - 5 dice and one red cup...  pretty fantastic!  )   I don't dress up anymore, but we are headed to the Patriots/Vikings game on 10/31, so I may have to this year!

My update: Had my IVF class today & start estrogen patches on 10/18, stims on 10/23.

OMG People!!!

I just found out that we have our ET set for oct 16th-- this saturday!

It will be a day 5 blast transfer.  If we are lucky enough to have two embie to put in--that is our plan.  

DH and I are so excited.  This is what we were hoping for!!!

BETA will be 10/25--AHHH!  

QOTD: My fave costume has been my snow white costume my mom made for me when I was 5.

QOTD:  One year I was Robin (from Batman).  I made my costume and it came out really well.  I am not crafty so I was impressed with myself.

Update:  I took my last BCP today.  As soon as AF shows up I start the patch protocol for IVF #3.  It is a longer protocol and the first month is just waiting for cd 24 to apply the patch.  So, stims won't start until sometime in mid-late november!!!

Hi ladies, I am ridiculously excited to join this check-in.  I start Lupron on 10/23, w/ER/ET in early Nov and Beta the week of Thanksgiving.

QOTD:  I'm not a huge fan of Halloween as an adult (I like to hand out candy), but when I was younger I was really creative with my costumes.  One year I went as a TV, yes I went TOTing wearing a huge box.  And another year, a friend and I went as Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum (red sweatsuits stuffed with pillows and all)...

Update: I've got 4 little embies growing right now and will find out how they are doing tomorrow.  ET is tenatively scheduled for 10/16, but we won't know for sure until tomorrow morning.

QOTD:  I haven't dressed up since I was a kid.  I think my fav costum was the year I dressed up as a geisha.  We had a Japanese exchange student who brought a traditional kumono and did the whole face makeup and everything.  It was cool.
