I take 50 mg twice a day, once in the morning with breakfast and once before bed, so 100mg total per day. Evidently I need to up my morning coffee dosage, because I occasionally forget to take the morning dose, and I'm wondering if it's okay to just take 100mg at night if I do forget. Anyone else do this? Or just take 100mg once a day? My logic is that if people just take 100mg once a day, then it shouldn't be a big deal to double up if I forget a dose...or maybe I shouldn't jack with it, eh? lol
Obvi I'm going to ask the doc and pharmacist about this before I do it, but it was on my mind since I forgot my morning dose yesterday, and so I was wondering if anyone here had insight.
Re: Zoloft takers - what dose and how often do you take?
100 mg before bed.
I was on 200mg of Zoloft before I was weaned off when we were TTC. I've been taking it since I was 18, and I was slowly taken up to that dosage over about 2 years. My doctor prescribed it again, but only 50mg now. If it works, I'll stick with it, if not, going up to 100mg.
I was told not to double dose it. If you miss one, wait till tomorrow. I was only on once a day though.
