Is it ok to do Crinone before ET tomorrow?

Accidentally posted this on SAIF board...oops.

I meant to ask my Nurse this, but forgot, and now they're closed! I do my Crinone every morning when I wake up... Does anyone know if it's ok to do my Crinone before my ET?? I am scheduled for an 8:30am transfer, and don't know if I should do it before or after.

I would skip it, but I figure I need that Progesterone. Help!

Re: Is it ok to do Crinone before ET tomorrow?

  • When I had my ET I called that morning and asked about the crinone. My ET was at 10 and they told me not do my morning dose until after my ET. I typically did my crinone around 7am. Good luck!

  • Ditto pp! Last week I had my injections/meds meeting with the nurse to start the ivf cycle and she told that when it's time, I should wait until I get home from the ET for the crinone.  GL!!

  • I have been instructed to not use the crinone on the day of ET until after the procedure.

The only time I used the crinone before was when my FET was at 3:45pm.  The nurse said I was okay to do my morning crinone since my appointment was so late.

I'd wait and do the crinone when you get back from ET.  Good luck!
