The learning tower would make cooking and baking so much easier for our son. As a highly spirited 2 1/2 year old, I've found cooking and baking really redirect his energy into something he loves. However, as a highly spirited child, it's just not safe for him to stand on a chair to help
My husband and I would use it in the kitchen for cooking, at the table working on all sorts of craft projects and in the livingroom to do art work! What a wonderful tool this could be until my little guy is tall enough to reach!
My plan would be to use it in the kitchen. My grandmother used to make no bake chocolate peanut butter cookies and I would love to share that experience with my 2.5 year old son.
However, my son (no doubt) will inject his creativity to develop a new use. I expect it will be moved around the house to give him a better "view" of whatever it is he deems necessary. It will be a fort, a stool, a "weapon" to chase the dog, an art easel, a hiding place, and anything else he can come up with
I could use them for so many things. I not only am on my way to being a first time mother, but I am also an Occupational Therapy Assistant and I am always looking for new ways/equipment to make my future child more independent and safe. I could use it in the kitchen, in the craft room with crafts and for my child to help my husband with things on his bench.
My son Shea helps me with dinner every night. His favorite thing to cook is tomato sauce... now if only he would eat it! He stands on a chair next to me and we carefully cook together although I'm constantly nervous about him falling. Dinner takes longer than it should because I won't walk away from him at the counter. He's a busy little boy, always moving. I've been wanting a Learning Tower for some time now, it would be an amazing help in our kitchen. Cooking dinner with Shea is the highlight of my day, I just want him to be safe.
