Cincinnati Babies

**klmorgan**

Since we are nearly due date twins, thought I'd ask how you are doing?  I seen your post below about the platelet counts.  But how is the bump?  I definitely have one, but not enough for strangers to ask yet, but enough for maternity clothes.  My non-materity shirts are too short and come up over the maternity waist bands.  I kinda popped a little on Sat. the 2nd.  Are you feeling the baby yet?  This little one is going to be a kicker for sure with the way he is kicking me this early.  Some days he kicks me repeatedly then nothing for a few days, but it always makes me smile to feel him!  (Obviously I think it's another boy, since I refer to him as HE!)

Re: **klmorgan**

  • I'm doing pretty good....how about you??  The bump is definitely growing, much sooner than with Noah!  I'm wearing maternity jeans, just because they're more comfortable....but still having a little trouble keeping them up.  I'm at a very awkward in between stage.  Maybe this baby is going to be smaller because I still haven't gained any weight yet.  I gained 35 with Noah, so I'm hoping it stays below that!

No definite movement yet.  I feel like I'm behind, but I know it's still early.  I didn't feel Noah for sure until around 20 weeks...so I know there's still time!  I've had a few moments where I think I feel something, but it doesn't last long so I second guess myself.  Hopefully soon though!

I'm just hoping this baby isn't going to hurt me like Noah did.  I had severe leg pain with him.  To the point where I was in agony the second I took off the compression stockings I wore.  Hopefully if it does happen it will be easier since it's going to be cold.  I wore those stupid stockings all summer, then had to wear pants on top of them....miserable!

2 weeks until we find out!  Are you finding out??

  • I felt movement at 17 weeks last time, so I was about 4 weeks before that this time.  I bet you feel the baby any day now.

We are definitely finding out the gender.  I have to plan a nursery.  We were moving with Eli so we just threw the nursery together and really did his big boy room nice.  So I want to redo the nursery since I know this baby will be in that room much longer than Eli.  I have an appointment on Friday and am hoping they will schedule my u/s then.  I feel really behind since all the other March mommas at least know when they get their u/s if they haven't has it already.

I hope you don't go through the leg pain again.  The little aches and pains of pg are never any fun.  I didn't have anything like that, but I do have HBP issues and at a high risk for pre-e, so my OB already warned me that I shouldn't be surprised when they pull me out early for bed rest.  YIKES!  That's a little scary to hear at TWELVE weeks, you know?  OH well.  Guess that comes with having a high stress job.

I am finally starting to get a little more energy and starting to feel pg.  Still scared something bad will happen.  Although I was doing pretty good until a co-irker decided to tell me yesterday about her friends m/c.  I was ready to smack her.  Thanks co-irker.  Just what I needed to hear.

Eli still comes over about every other day to kiss the "baby" too.  It absolutely melts my heart.
