I want a snow storm

s/o of the MIL comment post below.

When I had DS we had a snow storm that made it so no family could visit us for about a week after DS was born.  It was so hard, but so WONDERFUL!  Oh I enjoyed it so much that we got to bond as a family and wouldn't mind that happening again this winter.

I know I should be careful what I wish for and while I don't mind my family around and probably will need someone to watch DS while in the hospital, my MIL didn't do one thing when she visited except snatch the baby from me.

I refuse to worry about my MIL like I did with DS.  I just can't handle it especially with what her own issues are right now.

That's exactly what I am afraid of!! My MIL *doesn't* cook or clean, so I have no doubt she will just be sitting there holding the baby the entire time.

I never thought about a snow storm but what a great idea! I'm definitely with you on that... I could only hope.

  • Now that I have access to work from home if needed and I obviously have a great excuse not to drive to work in the snow, BRING ON THE SNOW!  Yippeee... let's just hope by the time I deliver my LO, there is no snow.
