Parenting after a Loss

Zombie...

Is how I look today.

T was sleeping from 11:30pm to 5:30 am since she was 2 months old. Well, for the past 5 days, she decided to wake up every 3 hrs to feed again. Please tell me she will sleep a longer stretch again soon. Please. (.)(.) will thank you.

yeah, she still won't take a bottle :(

Re: Zombie...

  • Sounds like 4 month wakeful. Nap when you can. It didn't last too long for us, a few weeks I think.

  • Unfortunately, we've been struggling with this for two months now. He was awesome, and then he started getting hungrier. I should have started rice cereal/solids when I realized he was hungry, but waited until 6 months and dealt with the night wakings for weeks. He has mostly slept better since doing solids, but it's on and off. I know he's full and can go all night, but he wakes up pretty frequently. :( I wish I could say it won't last long, but I have no idea. I just know that it's not going to be permanent! :)

  • Ya, this lasted about 2m for us (though I think teething had something to do with it towards the end). Once we added fruits/veggies and increased his cereal intake it stopped...literally, like 4 days later. It was heaven not to feed during the night anymore. Hang in there and GL.
