I did try this when I was super in a pinch with both my Chicco and a lightweight McLaren Volo. I would not recommend it; they are just not easy to maneuver. Depending on you/your DH's schedule, I would really suggest either getting up earlier or going later in the evening (even if it means letting DH take over dinner and bath duties). The C25k program is only 3x per week (so really only twice during the weekday) so I can't imagine taking a week or two to see if it is for you before investing in a jogger would be TOO much of a sacrifice. If your DH just isn't available during those times, I would look for a used jogger.
I wouldn't. The wheels can turn too easily and make the stroller stop abruptly. For jogging, I think the fixed wheel of the jogger is important for a smooth ride. I'll echo what pp said-is there any way you can get some time to jog alone so you can see if it's for you? I enjoy jogging infintely more alone than I do with DD along.
Can you borrow a friends jogger? I agree with pp- I tried it one time when we were traveling and it was an epic fail. Maybe you can find one cheap(er) on Craigslist.
I run with a jogging stroller on a pretty regular basis and would highly recommend against jogging with a regular stroller. I can't imagine you would like doing the C25K plan with a regular stroller. I tried to walk fast/jog slowly once with our umbrella stroller and lasted maybe half a block. DS was bouncing everywhere, the wheels were swiveling all over the place -- it was bad. See if you can find a cheap used jogging stroller on Craig's List or something. Or join a gym with childcare and run on the treadmills there. Or have a friend/spouse watch your child while you run.
Re: does anyone run with a regular stroller, not jogging stroller?
