Anyone have this stroller?

Preface with this: No I am not pregnant.  This is for my sister who is due with #2 in April.

Its a Chicco Cortina Together Double Stroller - Cubes. 

How does the front seat work?  Does it have a solid cup holder across or just the two on each side? The one in the store had a bar do you use this? Also have you tried taking pieces off your other Chicco stroller and using it (i.e. the tray on the single working on this one).
