I just realized, when I was pregnant with my first son he was due May 3. And with this baby I am due May 2.
Why am I worried ya'll ask?
With my first son my water broke on March 28th. I had him on March 29. I had the worst labor and delievry. Not going to say what happened because I dont want to scare you first time mommies. But needless to say I ended up having to have a third degree medio-lateral episiotomy. 42 stitches to stitch me back up. And 5 months to finally heal, after 2 of the stitches broke. Ugh. He was born not breathing, and I didn't get to hold him until he was 5 days old. He had to stay in the NICU for 2 weeks then finally got to come home. They don't know why my water had broke, it just did. He is a healthy vibrant 4 year old now.
My second baby was born on time was in labor for 5 hours and pushed him out in 4 minutes.
Hope this baby comes out on time, healthy, and easily.
Re: Just Realized...
Wow. They will probably make you try for a VBAC in the operating room just in case something happens. You will be in the right hands.
I had to stay in the hospital for 4 days after cause everything was so swollen. I hated not being able to take my son home with me. I was so scared when I got pregnant with my second son, I didnt want to have to go through 29 hours of hard labor again. But he came out with ease.
Lol. I felt EVERYTHING. Then when I thought it was over they started stitching me up. It was a horrible labor and delivery.
Most women who do have one done they don't feel anything because they are holding their babies and all the joy is directed off the pain.
The only reason they had to give me one so bad was because he came out facing up, he didn't turn like he was supposed to. So he ended up getting stuck. They had to use the vaccum to extract him. My body wasnt ready to deliver him so that is the only reason why I had such a hard labor and delivery.
Im pretty sure you will be allright though.:)
