Does anyone have any tips for flying with a toddler?
We leave on Thursday for St. Louis and I've pretty much gotten that I need a snack or two for take off and landing, books, toys for entertainment. For those that are feeding LO whole milk, where you able to take milk through security or should I just purchase it once I'm in the terminal?
Any other suggestions?

Re: Tips for flying with a Toddler
We didn't bring milk with us, I had actually gotten some toddler formula samples and I brought them on our trip. She drank one but decided she didn't like it after that.
I got stickers and a travel magna-doodle from Target. We put stickers on the inflight magazine, that was probably the most successful time waster of the entire trip. I also sang songs about the puppies in the SkyMall mag.
Its not the end of the world if your lo cries or is loud, it is public transportation and some noise is expected.
And most of all, have fun!!!
Thanks ladies for the advice.
I picked up a maga-doodle from Target last night, a new Elmo, some puffs (she doesn't normally get them, just cheerios).I think DH and I are set.
As for the milk, I'm going to try and bring it through security, if that doesn't work, then I'm going to just pick up some milk on the inside.
If it is in a sippy cup or a bottle you should be fine. I say this because I have brought both throught TSA security without a problem. Have a great time!
