Hi ladies!
I have two step children that never really ask for anything (shocking I know). They live with their mother so we don't get the constant prattle of "Oh I want this" or "I need to have that!", and their mother thinks that christmas lists are greedy, so we're usually clueless. It was easier when they were younger and we could go quantity over quality...
I have a 10 year old boy who loves video games and remote control things and an 8 year old girl who loves making things.
Are there any hot toys or whatever yet? Anything your kids are asking for already?
Also, is 10 too young for an ipod?
TIA!
Re: Is it too early to ask about Christmas?
My daughter has had an MP3 player for a few years. She doesn't use it all the time and I got her a cheaper one than an iPod cause she really wasn't that responsible with it at first.
Also, if the girl like to make things, my daughter loves her Perler beads:

My 7-year old daughter is crazy about some new toy (that I think is gonna be a big seller this year) called "Squinkies".
Ipods are a good electronic gift! So are MP3's or maybe a Nintendo DSi, if he doesn't already have one?
As for crafty gifts, check out Alex Toys (brand) - they have this cool Sticker Making machine where you can color and design your own stickers and it cost me about $25 dollars. My DD is also a craft lover and she loves those wooden bead kits where you can make your own jewelry.
