Bought my first pair of maternity jeans today

My sister gave me a bunch of her maternity clothes but I don't fit into any of them yet so I was in need of some maternity jeans.  Regular jeans still fit in the legs but the waist, even using the rubberband trick, is getting uncomfortable.

First of all, hallelujah.  Maternity jeans are wonderful!

Second of all, the maternity jeans selection in this town SUCKS.  I think there's a maternity store in the mall but I was out too late to check so I headed over to Target (after striking out at Old Navy, Ross, and TJ Maxx).  I finally found some in Target but the selection was truly laughable.  The distribution of sizes was absolutely awful, half the jeans were pre-ripped with random holes, and there were very few styles to choose from.  Can you tell I was seriously disappointed?

Fortunately, the one pair of dark washed, non-stained, non-ripped jeans I found fit just right.  They're boot cut Liz Lange jeans with an elastic band over the stomach for $30.  DH liked them, too, so I guess I'm all set until I get the energy to head out on another hunt.

Lucky gal! I think I am going to end up in leggings and skirts. As a plus size gal, it has been impossible to find pants in person! I know Old Navy has some, but they were the only thing *not* on sale today. So I will hold off until I can't bear pulling up my prepreg jeans anymore

I'm jealous! Enjoy them!

I bought a pair of maternity jeans from JcPenney about 2 weeks ago and they are absolutely wonderful. I am so comfortable in them and I can go all day without worrying about my body feeling like its been cut in two.

I got my first jeans Friday.  They are awesome!!  I also thought the same thing about Target and the jeans with pre-torn holes!

OOOHHH Thanksgiving is going to be so wonderful this year wearing those jeans   I bought some yesterday, and they are definitely wonderful.

I have the same problem.. Plus size and 6'3... Can't find maternity jeans that fit both ways!

I asked the gals at Torrid why they don't do any plus. And Lane Bryant no longer offers anything for what I can tell. I am almost 5'9 so I will cave in a couple months and get a pair from old navy. They do have plus, but I am not sure inseam. If I were you I would find some low rise jeans and get a belly band. That seems like half of maternity jeans are without panels, just low rise pants!

Ha! It worked! Lol.. Lane Bryant always has pants that are long enough but they don't do maternity:( I might just have to spring for regular pants that are a size or two up and wear a BellaBand..
