Okay this is the second time I've done this.  There was a lady at Sunrock Farm today and I could have sworn I knew her kids from pics on here.  So I approached her and said, "This is weird, but are you on the bump?". . . "What's the bump?". . .Oops as I, i.e. crazy lady, walks away.  I swear some of your children have twins out there.  

Anyone else ever do this?

Yikes!  That is exactly why I won't ask someone, even when I am really really sure about it.  I have seen some Bumpies around, but never have the nerve to say hello.   Mainly for the reason you just posted.  I love that you did ask.  If anyone sees me out, say something, because my chicken butt won't do it.  LOL.

I would chicken out too.  Mainly for the fact that I asked a few of my mom's club friends when I met them a few years ago if they were on the bump/nest and they all looked at me like I had 4 heads.  Very awkward.

Twice I have been out and recognized kids from their pictures on this board.  In fact, I recognized your Griffin (little-peanut) at Irons yesterday!  But I lurk more than post and don't attend GTGs so had I said something to you it would have come off as totally stalkerish

I need to be 150% sure. Recognize mom AND kids and possibly be FB friends before I will say ANYTHING. I bumped into pinkylu at Target a while ago and said something because we mutually recognized each other. I am a chicken butt too.

Ha ha! Do you know who you think you 'thought' it was? LOL!

THIS is the exact reason why I think we should have a 'Bumpie' shirt when we go out in public and want to be recognized by our other Bump friends. Maybe I'll look into that!

Oh, and I was sooo close to doing this to a girl who I thought was a Bumpie and I'm glad I kept my mouth shut because I realized once she said her child's name that it was not her!

You totally should have said something!  I know I am too shy to, but if someone were to know for sure it was a bumpie, I would love to chat!

I hope you had as much fun yesterday as we did.  It was a great day for pumpkin picking!

This is why I think we should have a code word.  Like are you in my mom's group vs. are you on the bump?  KWIM? 

I am oblivious when I am in public so I would never catch on.
