OMG.  I want one.  How freaking cute are they!! 

I thought of you today at the zoo, they now have chickens in the farm area, and there was the sweetest, prettiest little fluffy chicken.

You all are no help, LOL.

And I know this makes me sound like a huge dork, but I cannot tell you how f'ing happy I am with my chickens. So totally wish I'd gotten them years ago when I first started researching/talking about them. Even my dh, who only reluctantly agreed to let me get them, is now totally on board with the chickens and the kids play outside so much more than ever now since there are animals to chase around. 

My chickens make me happy. My garden makes me happy. And I suspect that cute little pygmy goats will make me happy too. ;-)

Dh and I figure that our next house needs a bit more land and a barn. I think that by the time our kids are a bit older we're totally going to end up with our own hobby farm.
