Qtip test...

So did anyone do this test 9-10 DPO?? I just went to the bathroom and some pink spotting on the tp.  I proceeded to do the qtip test and sure enough it was not negative. Implantation spotting?  I had a decent temp drop a few days ago too... I thought maybe that was the infamous "implantation dip" that a lot of girls have been talking about. Now I'm not sure.  AF isn't due until wednesday at the earliest!  ugh...I'm kind of upset now.

    There was a post early this week about swirling a qtip in your vag and if it doesn't come back clean, AF might be coming soon.  I don't know if there is much truth to this lol but I just did it and freaked myself out.

    I was just trying to find the post and didn't see it! I would have attached a link.  Yeah, it was basically if you see any pink or brown discharge.....AF might be coming.  Like I said though, I don't know if this was from someone who just shoved a qtip up their vag and decided they would get their period lol.......

    I wouldn't freak out over it. And btw, implantation bleeding rarely happens anyway.

    Also, LOTS of ladies that have graduated got spotting during their BFP cycle, so I wouldn't count myself out just because of the spotting.

    Ok, so the q-tip test does work for some women. I was the first one to post about it, and that's where all the posts have been coming from. Basically if it comes out with anything but clear, AF's coming within the next 24-48 hours. It didn't, however, work for me, but my best friend used it the whole time they were TTC and it worked for her. But now that I have IC's, I just use them since they're better at telling me whether I'm KU or not! Smile It's cool to see my post became so famous! Cool

    LOL, well at least I know I'm not the only one who did this, haha! There were a ton of ppl replying to that original post!  I'm just waiting it out and hoping for the best! Thanks for the replies though!

    bfp 1 - m/c 1.31.11 @ 10 weeks

    bfp 2 - baby born via c-section on 5.4.12 @ 37 weeks

    bfp 3 - blighted ovum/d&c on 4.13.13 @ 8 weeks

    bfp 4 - 3rd IUI, very late BFN with super low P, c/p

    bfp 5 - natural bfp while on lupron, baby born via RCS on 4.27.15 @ 39 weeks

    bfp 6 - surprise! baby born via RCS on 11.13.16 @ 38 weeks

    I'm sorry, but the only thing going up my vag by my own hand (or permission, rather) is a tampon or my H's penis. (Unless you're a dr Big Smile)

    If you have any blood up there, it will eventually make its way down your canal and on to your TP. If you are spotting, you are spotting. There is no tell tale magic of the QTip. Maybe you would see it a couple of hours earlier but still.
