Sleep sacks

I know I read somewhere (but I can't remember where) that sleep sacks should not be used after a certain age, I think it was 6 months.  But I'm wondering why.  Has anyone heard of this??

I have never heard this. They make them in sizes up to like, 18 months or something. We kept DS in one until he was old enough to have a blanket in bed, like a year.

I haven't heard that one.  Maybe you're thinking about swaddling?  Sleep sacks are like sleeping bags with arm holes.

I know, I thought it was really weird too.  I get so many baby updates in my inbox and get tons of baby mags that I can't recall where I read it.
