can you make 1 ounce of formula?

first time formula user - i'm using it for cereal and only need 1 ounce. I've been making 2 ounces then dumping the rest, but wondering if I can make 1 ounce....1oz water 1/2 scoop of powder? anyone tried it?

  • Yup, half a scoop for 1oz, that's what I do anyways!

  • All the time.  E eats 5 oz bottles.  One ounce of water and half a scooper.  Or if you are going to use it again within 24 hours you can make two ouonces and put the extra one in the fridge.

  • Make a days worth and put it in the fridge. That way you don't have to bother mixing every feeding and you can use what you need each time. (it also lets the formula rest after shaking).  JMO.
  • I just eyeball half a scoop when I need to do this.
