Recipe help - shredded beef for tacos

My in-laws are coming in town tonight, and I was thinking of making tacos for dinner tomorrow night. Does anyone have a good recipe (preferably a slow cooker recipe) for shredded beef for tacos/burritos? I'm hoping to throw something in the slow cooker in the morning before we head to the pumpkin patch. I could look on allrecipes.com but the in-laws are very judgmental of my cooking so I'd like a recipe that someone has tried and loved. Thanks in advance!

I don't really have a recipe (I always wing it) but when I make tacos I always make sure there are sauteed onions, lots of chili powder, garlic salt and pepper.
