Welcome, ladies, to the Expecting a Sibling Weekly Check-In! I will try to post this check-in each Friday morning - afternoon, so be looking for it! I'll also try to repost this around Saturday-Sunday so that others can add to our thread. If you'd like you can also put the date of your next checkup or u/s and I'll add next to your name so that we can send good thoughts your way on that particular day.

Below is the list of ladies who have joined us, 89 so far! If you would like to be added to our list, please leave your Bump Name, your real name (if you choose to share), and what number child this will add to your family. Newbies are always welcome, as well as proud step parents & those adopting!

For those who are newbies please read the post New to January Moms or The Bump? (thank you to mchupie!). It will help answer so many questions, and you can also grab the January Joy button code from that post. There is also a bump glossary located here. And an unofficial glossary located here. The unofficial glossary contains a lot more bump lingo.

General QOTD: How has your week been? - Pretty good, I've been having baby blues, and I've blown my eating & workout schedule, but am determined to get back to it today.

 

QOTD: What are your costumes for Halloween this year (you, your kids & SO) ? Feel free to PIP! - For DS he will be Tigger (have yet to try it out on him). And I have this shirt which I believe one of our ladies put us onto! DH isn't into dressing up this year.

General QOTD: How has your week been?
Busy... I hosted a Longaberger party last night (horrible idea for a week night, btw) and I have to do a party for my jewelry line Sunday for my mom.

I don't know what I'm going to be yet. I found a possible shirt that says "I'm pregnant, isn't that scary enough?" which might work. DSS is being a Dallas Cowboys player, and DH is being himself. VERY scary. lol.

My week was long for some reason.  There are some things going on here that I am kind of wishing the week(s) away just to get them over with (husband in cast, not working pretty much sums it up)

H and I don't dress up, but I have a halloween shirt, and the boys are dressing up like Mario and Luigi.  The have already tried on their costumes for sizing purposes and they are super excited!!!

my week has been good, went a little slower than last week, but i get to enjoy my day off with DH and DD today!

for costumes we still haven't figured out what we are going to be, i'm thinking pebbles for DD and DH won't dress up oh well maybe next year.  

oh and can you add me to team pink please.

General QOTD: How has your week been?  I've had a pretty good week.  I think the nesting bug that I never got with DS is kicking into high gear right now, though.  All I want to do is sort and clean and organize and throw stuff away.  DH is in trouble this weekend.

QOTD: What are your costumes for Halloween this year (you, your kids & SO) ? Feel free to PIP!  DH and I probably won't dress up at all.  I will try to find a Halloween shirt, but that will be about it.  DS is going to be Handy Manny.  I am making him a shirt and felt toolbox - the only thing I haven't found yet is the hat.  I'll be sure to AW his costume as soon as it's done.

General QOTD:  Week has been good.  DH is gone again, but only gone for 3 nights/2 dinners.  Dinners are the hardest while he's gone.  I'm feeling good and had a good 24 week appt. 

 QOTD:  DD is going to be a cat.  I'm kinda copping out and just going with some black clothes, a tail, and $1 cat ears from the Target dollar spot with a little face paint.  I don't know how much Trick or Treating we'll be doing, because we'll be at my sister's, but I don't want her to miss her first chance to go door to door!

General QOTD: How has your week been? Challenging. I couldn't manage to get anywhere on time this week, ate too much bad stuff, only exercised once, and was overwhelemed with a "to do list" that wasn't pregnancy/baby related. Looking forward to next week!

QOTD: What are your familys' costumes for Halloween this year? Feel free to PIP! DH plans to be Batman, DS is going to be Robin, and I'm going to be Batgirl! We LOVE Halloween! Unless DH ends up working then I'm going to wear a Halloween Tee and DS is going to be a vampire.

How has my week been?  Actually, this week has been rougher than most.  My body feels like it is falling a part.... a welcoming gift to the 3rd trimester I suppose :-P

As far as Halloween costumes?  We haven't finalized it all yet but we're working on it!

 General QOTD: How has your week been? It has been pretty boring. I haven't really done much because my energy levels are way down. But I have spent a lot of time with the kids doing stuff that they like.
