IHO Lyon's article post. Love Mr. Lyon's response. Funny stuff. It does make me wonder what the prevailing attitude is toward a drink every now and then during pg.

I'm pretty sure everyone already knows my answer; however, I really should've voted SS because I can't really remember if it was like late 2nd tri or early 3rd tri when I allowed myself a glass of red wine, here and there.
My midwives approve...just another reason why I love them.
Hmmm... would be interesting to poll if there was a difference between pregnancies as well.
I was pretty by the book when I was pregnant with DS.... but I feel like next time I will be much more lax.... but then again, not there so I don't know.
Actually, I'm pretty sure I probably consumed wine more frequently (still never more than 1/2 glass per day, 1-2 times/week) during my pregnancy with DS1; however, I was SOOOOO much more uncomfortable during that pregnancy, plus I had more time in the evenings to just sit back and put my feet up. Nothing has changed with regard to my attitude around the issue.

You must have me confused with someone else. I don't cook.
I'm commenting anyway.
I voted "not a drop after my BFP," but it had more to do with DH being totally freaked out about it than me. He felt very strongly that he didn't want me to drink at all, whereas I probably would have had a small glass of wine once or twice, but didn't care enough to do it when I knew it would upset him.
With the second one, I probably will not drink at all because DD turned out so great that I'm afraid to do something different and screw the next one up!

NOPE. I can 100% vouch that wine is not the miracle I am hoping for. Maybe I need me a crack daddy?

I voted not even while TTC but to clarify it is because I don't drink anyway--TTC, not TTC, pregnant, not pregnant. My reasoning is just because there isn't much that I care for the taste of and honestly I can't really drink much without freeling crappy--so, naturally, I don't drink while PG either but it isn't because I think the occasional of glass of wine will harm the baby--I know the opposite to be true, and my midwife even recommended a glass of wine/sex to get labor started when I was PG with Charlotte (however, neither appealed to me at that point, lol).
ETA: I didn't see the no comments part either--whoops!
