Infertility

Wow.. I am such a B*tch...(little long)

on Lupron... I don't get this emotional roller coaster right now.. I got into a heated argument with DH over the phone today. I mean I never try to piss him off since he is in Afghanistan and the last thing he needs is stress from back home. But it's been 9 months since he has been home and he was suppose to come home by November 15th but nothing has been confirmed yet. And today he said he heard it won't be until November 28th.He will miss Thanksgiving And I just flipped *** on him. I told him I was going to stop injections and threw it all in his face how his decision to be in the military is f'ing up our marriage. WOW I can't believe this was me today.Embarrassed Then after this whole convo I went back to work and was in a great mood and joking with a co-worker. I feel like I am going to loose it this time... I wrote DH an email while I was in a good mood and explained my moods have been nutso because of my injections.. Of course because he is the greatest man ever he apologized too even though he didn't have any reason. I need to try to keep Mr. Hyde in check..ugh.

  • That's great that your husband is understanding.  I must be so hard for you to have him so far away.  I have no idea how long you will be on the lupron, but I hope not too long!  Oh, and thanks to your husband for his service.  I always have the utmost respect for military families.  My little brother just came back from Iraq not long ago.

  • Try not to beat yourself up too much. The medications definitely Make you more moody. Last weekend I blew up at my husband because he took the garage opener from my regular car and put it in the new vehicle we just bought. I started screaming and crying about how he never helps me do anything. He gave me a look that clearly said "ur nuts, lady. But I know your emotions are wacky" and just said sorry to me. Lol I felt so bad afterwards.

  • We all have our moments, try not to be too hard on yourself.  It sounds like your DH understands how hard this is for you and gets that you aren't meaning to be mean to him.  Hang in there.

  • The medications can seriously make us freaky. I'm glad your husband is understanding of that. I hope he is able to come home soon.

  • I'm so sorry. I was on Lurpon for 3 months and it was sheer hell. I got depressed, I would cry over nothing, I would fly off the handle (mostly at DH) for something completely and utterly stupid but at the time, it felt justified. I hate lupron and wish you the best.

  • I'm sorry you have to go through this whole emotional journey while he is away, but I just want you to know that I think you guys are amazing and I have so much respect for you to be able to do this while he is not with you. I really hope you can get off Lupron soon, and that DH can come home so you guys can get the happy ending you deserve!
