Dh and I went to see it when it was in theaters. I really didn't go into the theater thinking it was gonna be great, but I thought it was hilarious. I liked that there wasn't any dialogue and it was pretty much watch all the funny things babies do.

yeah I thought it would be a bit more 'hands on' I guess with interviews and such. I felt really bad for the little Mongolian baby...he seemed to always be laid up in the bed or his brother was being mean to him.
me too cc605 and the ladie in san francisco confused me when they were in the hot tub naked... I was like... huh? Doesn't seem like something normal american's do to me...

The documentary was made in France, so I think "their" opinion is that all Americans are hippies. I mean, how many parents do you know that sit in a circle with their babies and sing songs about the sun?! But I did love that the little girl walked away and was trying to get out of the room while they sang.

I started watching it the other day while I did some embroidery but thought it was boring because there's no dialog which didn't help when I'm trying to focus on something like that.
Visually it was quite beautiful but I just couldn't watch it while I was doing what I was doing so I stopped it. It was pretty interesting the differences in cultures though and kind of made me realize how us westerners need to chill a little bit when it comes to raising kids.

That was my favorite part, too! I hate to judge, but, whoo...that little girl was one ugly baby.

both of these!! it was hilarious when she was trying to escape hippie circle time!! but yeah she was NOT classically cute.
my favorite part was with the dad from Tokyo when he was on the cell phone just shaking the rattle over the babies head! omg I seriously laugh thinking about it. it's just seemed like a really cute helpless dad moment.
