Difficult to say?

I am having a hard time coming up with boys names we both like.  DH wants a Biblical name, and I want a name that sounds good and is not too common.  We thought of Seth, but worry that it will be hard to say with our last name which begins with a "sh" sound.  What do you think?

I just inserted my own SH name...Shane, and yeah, when I said it out loud, I tripped over it. It's the change from the TH to the SH...it's choppy. And when you say it at normal to fast speeds, it gets worse.

Yeah, Seth probably isn't great with an SH last name.  Here are some biblical names I really like:  Benjamin, Ezra, Caleb, Charles, Daniel, Edward, Gabriel, Jacob, Judas, Noah, Jonah, Philip and Tobias.  Good luck!

These are great names, although I would swap out Judas for Judah.  Judas doesn't have such a great reputation.

Our last name starts with an SHL and we've had this same problem. We're going with either Micah or Malachi for our biblical name choice.

I agree. Other Bible names that i like : Josiah, Philip, Elijah, Elisha, Mathias, Samuel, and Jedediah.
