Ok so I need to make a grocery list and before doing that I thought I would ask.... What is your favorite cheap/easy recipes?? I always like to try new things
LOVE this one. It's baked ziti, so it's not very creative, but it's cheap and it's super good. It makes a lot, so plenty of leftovers. It gives you a recipe to use their homemade sauce but I just buy my favorite store brand and use that.
Here's another one. It's a weeknight lasagna toss and it's pretty good. Just be sure to cook it in a huge pot so it's easier to stir. Also leaves tons of leftovers.
I love to sautee garbanzo beans, garlic, cauliflower, bananas, tomatoes, chicken and yellow curry in a sauce with some extra virgin olive oil for a healthy and yummy dinner.
Also: I like to sautee bell peppers (red, orange and yellow), mushrooms, garlic, tomatoes and then put them on tortillas with cheese on top...pop them in the oven and bake them. Voila, healthier quesadillas. Mmm.
If you have a wok, i recommend chicken breast/tenders sliced thinly with any vegetables of your choice. you could do it with a bit of soy sauce or just some olive oil. that and some uncle ben's rice and you're done!
