So, I always heard people talking and complaining about their LO's feet in their ribs. I kept wondering if Aidan was doing it and I just wasn't correctly identifying it.
a) no, he wasn't doing it
and I know this because
b) now he is
ow!

you totally will. Trying to explain what it feels like is sort of pointless, because it feels *exactly* like someone is inside you, kicking your ribs. lol

My DH finally saw my belly move with a kick and he was like "holy Shiit"!
I am still kind of freaked out by the fact that someone is living inside of me- does it weird anyone else out? Weird in a fascinating way I mean.
Oh absolutely. And I won't sugar coat it - I mean weird in the "ew, weird" way. Very little about some other person squirming around inside me, getting larger by the day, fascinates me. I'm glad that i'm providing him a nice little home for him for 40 weeks, but i'm certainly looking forward to delivering that eviction notice come January.

It is kind of parasitic if you think about it... with the exception that our baby is the same species as us obviously. When I think about the fact that I have 3 months left- I get a little anxious. I can't imagine being more uncomfortable than I am right now. And I feel like I complain to people about my pregnancy but I am not going to lie and say I feel awesome when someone asks. Don't ask if you don't want the answer. My husband is currently putting socks on for me, and I have a stool so I can get into bed. I feel like an 80 yr old woman, except I think my grandmother can do more than I can at this point.
Totally not looking forward to that again. LO has just moved up towards the middle of my belly, so we'll see how long it takes her to kick upwards.
When DD was around 35+ gest. her bum would be on the right side of me and it was stuck up under my ribs. OMG I'd have to do side bends to get her to move out of there. When she was born, we realized why she was up there so much... she was 21.25 inches long!

My LO is exploring my ribs this week. It's not a great feeling at all since I am short-waisted, so there's not much room for him to stretch out up there.

Yes. She's never dropped below the 95%tile in height since she was born. She's 36 inches at 22 months. My hubby is 6'1", I'm 5'6". My brother is 6'5" and my mum is almost 6'. Tall family genes.
The downside is finding pants that fit her. 2T's fit length, but not in the waist... I need to get a belt. :P

YUP haha it's amazing but freaky at the same time. My baby is still pretty low havent felt much movement anywhere else who knows for how long that will last. I'm paranoid that she wont have enough room towards the end and all my insides will be squashed up especially since both my hubby and I are pretty tall AND his side of his family tends to make/push out 10 pound babies :S
Welcome to my world. Ryan's been doing this for a little while now but the pain is getting worse the bigger and stronger he gets. It's been so bad this week that it's actually brought me to tears a couple of times. Luckily he sleeps when I sleep so he's not waking me up in the middle of the night with kicks.

Hmm..my baby is sideways right now. My sister's said their babies were all sideways too and eventually turned head down when they were getting closer to their due dates. But it sounds like all of your babies are head down so I'm curious as to why some are already head down and others don't move for awhile. My baby is average sized-49th percentile.
