Working moms: If u had day off with LO, what would u do?

I'm off with DD tomorrow because the baby sitter's son is having surgery. It's going to be gorgeous weather. Sunny and 75 or so.  I'm thinking I might do something fun like a trip to the park or maybe even the zoo...

What would you do if you had an extra day off with LO?

I'd probably meet DH for lunch and take DD for a walk.  Maybe go visit my Grandma.  DH doesn't like to miss out on things so I wouldn't take her to the zoo or park w/o him.

sounds like fun!! Usually when I'm off and have both kids...I spend the morning cleaning the house...then I take them for a walk to the park, then I watch a movie with DD...and DD and I play with DS on the floor.  It's a relax day...but also a fun day to play!

I'd take advantage of the awesome weather and do something outside like the zoo or park. I'd try to arrange it so we did that either before or after lunch with DH. Then relax the rest of the day at home.

I'd probably clean the house and try to get errands done. In between, spend as much time snuggling with DS as he'd allow. Oh, and bask in the glory of not having to pump.

Well, I'm off for 1/2 the day today with Danny. I'm working this morning and then going to get him this afternoon... we are going to lunch at Bdubbs with Daddy & then him and I are going home to spend the afternoon playing and snuggling and possibly taking a walk to the park.

I have this coming up actually!  My DCP needs my birthday off because they have an out of town wedding, so I was like screw it, it's my birthday, I'm taking the day off and hanging out with DS.  There's an indoor play place by us that I'm going to take him to, then we will probably go have lunch and maybe do some shopping!  I can't wait.  It's going to be a great day. 

ETA:  I wanted to take him to the zoo, but it would be our first time going and DH didn't want to miss it.  We'll save the zoo for a family trip some other time.

I'm off with DD tomorrow too!   My parents are going out of town and since my mom is my babysitter while I work, I get the day off.  yay!!  It's supposed to be wonderful weather here too.  Too bad we don't live closer. 

I think DD and I are going to go for a walk, maybe a trip to Trader Joe's and possibly going to DH's jobsite and visit him at lunch.

easy....find one of my stay at home mom friends and hit up the zoo and/or aquarium.  :-)  (in the AM), then walk when she can nap, then park (swings slide in the afternoon).  maybe even go for lunch with her.

Well for me, because I'm furloughed 2 days a month we usually hang out at home and sleep in... Tomorrow is a furlough for me so I think we may go to the mall and just walk around.
