Defiantly talk to your OB. I went in last month for PPA and they prescribed Prozac. In my research I found that it also helps with OCD. GL! The Prozac is working wonders for me!

Yep! A combo of Zoloft (safe to take while nursing) and cognitive behavioral therapy worked wonders. I was in weekly therapy sessions for a few months and have been doing great!
Let me know if you have specific questions. I'd be happy to share my experience.

I sent you a private message. Some of the AFB girls mentioned you!
Sorry, not clicky. It's about intrusive thoughts/PPOCD.
I'm doing cognitive behavioral therapy only. I'm BFing and I think my case is pretty mild, so I've chosen not to do meds unless things get markedly worse. My therapist is on board with this.
I've definitely noticed an improvement in the two months that I've been going.
I had intrusive thoughts as well. I'm on zoloft currently and will most likely remain on it for the entirety of my pregnancy. I'm also still BFing. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk about it.
i have ppocd, and i would like to know if you can be more specific about the therapy you are getting. what exact methods they teach you there to help you really get over this crazy thoughts.
