I just saw your response about pumping while driving... Yes, I did this, multiple times a day.  It takes practice, but it is the only way I could make EPing work for me.

Here's what I needed-

BFing cover- I had a black one so it blended in with my winter coat
Car adapter.  There is one that Medela makes for its PISA, or you can buy an electric outlet for your lighter jack from Radio Shack.  The outlet is more expensive, but could be used for anything that plugs in down the road (not just your pump)
Hands free pump bra- if you don't already have one you can make one or buy one (let me know if you want sites where you can buy these).  The cheapest method though is probably to buy a sports bra and cut small slits where the horns go. 

 

Basically what I did was hook everything up before I went anywhere.  I also covered up before I moved, and when I knew I'd be pumping when I left said locale, I would park in a more discrete location.  I would also make sure the horns were accurately positioned before moving.  My pump would sit on the driver's seat so I could easily adjust speeds, etc.  More importantly, I was completely hands free! 

When I first started pumping while driving, I would unhook once I was stopped as well.  However, once I was more adept at this 'skill', I would unhook before I arrived somewhere.  This was a nice thing at school because of everyone arriving at about the same time every morning.  So, I'd unhook at the stoplight before the school so no one would see. 

As for my pumping schedule, I'd pump before getting ready in the AM, shower and get ready, pump in the car while driving to school.  I'd get a ton at that first session of the day, but then a fraction at that second session.  However, that second session made a significant difference because then I'd start the school day empty.  I'd then pump at lunch (~3 hrs later) and then while driving when I left school.
