My co-worker is doing IVF and is taking Lupron right now. This is her second round of IVF (first was cancelled due to no fertilization) and they've upped her dose...I feel so bad for her...she has had terrible headaches all week and she just IM'd me and said she can't even work anymore today. She has to go lay down...the RE nurse said all she can take is Tylenol (doesn't do anything for her). Are there any other remedies she could try that you ladies know of?

I think it was suggested to drink LOTS of water.
Lupron is a tough drug. It works on the brain core - makes your body think it is in menopause.
Tell your friend that the side effects do go away once you stop Lupron.

Depending on where she is in her cycle, she can likely take something stronger. She should press the nrse and the dr. for some relief. When I pressed, I found I could use advil and my migraine meds, which helped somewhat but not enough. Cold compressed really helped.
