I saw that. I couldn't even begin to formulate an appropriate response.
I formulated an inappropriate one.
LOL, I do not think your response was inappropriate at all. I think sometimes new nesties are not really prepared for the "realness" they experience on TN or TB! You were totally dead on with your response, as was Daves_sweetpea.
Oh damn!! I saw the OP but I didn't even bother to comment, I just laughed it off! I wish I would have stuck around for the replies! And if he was in there for however long she claims, don't you think someone would have said something? I mean really... a Homeless person has to stick out like a sore thumb for their attire alone. Unless of course he parked his butt under a bridge in Indian Hill and received handouts from the upscale residents! I call BS on that one...
6/28/10: Lost our sweet baby Addyston at 18wk 1day to pPROM
7/24/11: Michael William born at 24wk 2d due to IC after an emergent cerclage at 18wks, 4wk home BR and 2 weeks hospital BR. Grow strong our little Miracle!
9/17/11: Michael joined his sister in heaven after 8 amazing weeks with us on earth. He fought a very hard fight but NEC was too much for him in the end.
I am very sad I missed this post. 7 years ago I was in a wedding and all our purses (the bride, all the BMs, and I believe the bride's mom) got stolen out of the church during the ceremony. Obviously I should have demanded that the church bust out the collection plate and reimburse me stat!
How is she going to go about figuring out how much her venue "owes" her? call all of her guests she's "missing" gifts from and ask them how much money they gave her? Awkward! She was only missing some of the "money cards" not all of them. I asked her whether he had x-ray vision and took only cards with cash, or if he made off with some checks too (because those would be easy to track in the event they were stolen). I don't think any crime was committed, I think she was making an ASSumption that she was stolen from.
Re: homeless guy??
One of the new girls posted on the nest about how some homeless guy attended her wedding and now she's missing cards/money, etc.
I formulated an inappropriate one.
It was funny.
