May 2011 Moms

::Kerr::

I just saw your update from yesterday.  Sorry your appt wasn't exciting!

I thought I'd let you know that my RE still has me taking my Met.  He said I will continue to take it until I go to my OB and then my OB will make the decision of when to take me off.

When is your u/s next week?

Re: ::Kerr::

  • Hey! I called and scheduled the u/s for next Monday morning.

    I mentioned the Met to the nurse and she just blew it off. I guess I'm on it until I see the doc in two weeks. I think I remember reading that docs like to see you stay on it until the end of 1st tri due to the higher incidence of m/c with PCOS ladies?

    When will you get released to the OB?

  • Boo! I'm sorry you didn't even get to meet with your doctor. I can't wait for your u/s, though so you can see your little bean AND so you can prove that you are not 10w5d pregnant.

    Booyah, nurse, booyah! Stick out tongue

    I'll be glad to ditch the Met that's for sure.  But PCOS and multiples puts me at a higher risk for GD, so if my OB thinks it will help prevent that I'll stay on it as long as I need to.  I know for sure that I do not want to stop it and then start over.  YKWIM?

    I have an appt tomorrow with my RE.  Up until now, I've only seen my nurse since my BFP.  I guess I'll find out tomorrow.  The nurse said he likes to keep multiple moms until 10 or 12 weeks.  We'll see!

    Hey Sarah!  I'm glad I'm not the only teacher that likes to play during the day Smile
