I got that email too.  I haven't done any studies yet either.

They call me fairly regularly, but I've never actually done a study.  They never call more than a couple days in advance, the vast majority of studies are during the day (except for a couple where you try products in your home), and you can't take your kids and they don't offer childcare.  Super user-friendly.

Can you tell I get annoyed by them?

Lori - that's lame!  Why would they do studies for children's products and not let you bring your kids?  Guess I probably won't be doing any studies for them either!

They're actually run by the company that I used to work for. It's true that most of their studies are during the day and that you can't bring your kids, but if you ever go to one then you'll understand why.

They rarely have a problem filling up the spots, either! I signed up after I left the company, but technically I don't think I'm really allowed to participate.

The research is heavily dependent on age quotas, so they won't take you if you won't answer those questions.
