Who else havent we seen lately? Anyone with updates or memories? Bringing up sparkle and kinetic took me back to 2005 when i joined the knot. wow!

For the life of me, I can't remember her name; but there is another Knottie (wedding was in Dayton, I believe) who had her b-pics taken the same weekend I did.  She seemed like someone I'd like IRL; but I haven't *seen* her since God knows when...

I obviously keep up with Jules since we work together. She rarely drops in anymore. Having 4 kids makes life a little more hectic. Plus Aubrey never sleeps, so she's exhausted and has little free time.

 Are you thinking of Oiler, or whatever, Red hair and got married in Dayton??

Oh, that's right!  

For some reason, I'm thinking her name is Stacey - I thought she was more blonde; but maybe strawberry blonde; but the "oiler" part of the s/n sounds familiar.  Anyway, it's not like we were besties; but all this talk about the "good ol' days" made me think of her, especially since I pretty much dropped of the boards after the b-pics session (since it was a few weeks after my wedding).

I totally agree.  Every time I check here, I check over there too.  I usually post my "this has nothing at all to do with kids" posts over there.  There's just not much traffic these days...

About the homeless guy post-did she delete it? She posted on the local & month knot board & got the "oh poor you" responses she probably wanted.  Guess she didn't like my response!  It was the last one I saw-did it get good after that?

 And Lucky-my posts are gone.  I was pretty active on the Knot but now I'm a newb.  I even tried googling my screen name for old posts & nothing came up.  It's like I never existed over there

No, Daves, your post was the last one.  It must have been deleted.  She must not have liked my x-ray vision comment (or any of my comment, actually).  Her venue was not in the wrong - it's like if I go shopping at Kroger and my purse gets stolen out of my cart - it's not Kroger's fault or responsibility to make up for it.  

In any case, it's more likely that she just didn't get gifts from some guests, not that the guy took them.  He probably hangs around there all the time and the staff would be able to ID him - if that was the case, she needs to file a report.  But I must be a bitter, old, shriveled up, jaded married hag (or come off that way to her), so what do I know?

I'm here! I turned into a lurker . The days of the knot were my best posting days, lol. I was in grad school at the time, and the knot was the best procrastination device ever. I loved the where-is-Sparkle post... I remember her as having amazing taste. But? the post also made me think that I've probably inadvertently deleted a few people from my facebook friends, too. I'm horrible about remembering connections between knot names / nest names / bump names / real names . If I ever delete anyone, I'm sorry - just send me a message to tell me that I deleted you and I suck, and I'll add you back .
