I saw a post a few months ago about this, but it didn't really apply to me at the time. I can never get Riley to burp anymore! When she does, it's on her own when I sit her up.
I was just wondering the same thing. Mason is a big "spitter-upper" but it doesn't seem to be related to getting burps or not. He definately burps on his own when he sits up usually, sometimes later on. I'm getting fewer and fewer by burping him.

I read somewhere that around 4 months, LO is mobile enough to get their own burps out. DD tends to burp when I get out of the chair to change her diaper.

I kind of just feel him out...for the most part he just burps on his own at the end of the bottle...sometimes i will have to help him out but that's not the usual.
Re: When do you stop burping?
Same here to a T.
this exactly.... even if it's getting harder, you should always try.....
