Awesome Ultrasound!

I've had three ultrasounds relating to my NT scan at a local hospital. Wow is it so much different at my ob's office! The hospital was kind of what you'd expect, a sparse hospital room with an ultrasound machine and small screen to one side.

My ob's office was awesome! Dimmed lights, candles lit, music playing, and a huge flat panel tv above you so you had a great view of what was going on. It definitely set a different tone! I am so thrilled that our baby looks healthy, and we found out that it is a little girl! Let the shopping begin!!

What?? Jealous. That sounds totally awesome. We are having a girl too. It is so fun.

I have dimmed lights and a nice room, but no candles or TV!  That's cool.

My OB is crappy. They don't have any machines at their office. I have to travel an extra 20 minutes away. And our "big" u/s experience was horrible. She kept shaking my belly to get the baby to move, but clearly baby was napping regardless of the mini earthquake. She didn't even offer to tell us the sex, we had to ask her, and even then, she said "If I had to take a guess, I would say girl" I'm sorry what!? IF YOU HAVE TO GUESS. Come on woman. I'm dying to buy stuff and I can't even do that.

Candles, soft music, and dimmed lights?  They know you guys already made a baby, right?

 They did this to me when I went to the hospital.. on top of it not working it HURT when they bounced (aka jammed) the ultrasound paddle thing into my belly.
