I have started my bi-weekly appts/ u/s at 16 weeks at 20 weeks they did the transvag u/s to check my cervix. Since we have had some complications and scares along the way and DH cannot be there for every appt our faimly has decided to send someone with me to every appt in case I need a support person. This week is my Dad and next appt is my FIL and step MIL. I have not had problems with my cervix yet, but do they normally check every 2 weeks after 20 weeks your cervix? I did start to get braxton hicks contractions this week?

I got my cervix checked by transvaginal u/s plus had an abdominal u/s at every appt until 31w, and after that it was just abdominal u/s. (And BPPs, etc.)

My cervix was checked at my monthly peri appt up until 26 wks.  After that they said it wasn't necessary, as if it did thin, I had reached viability.
