Vibrating Crib Mattress???

Does anyone have the crib mattress that vibrates? Does it really work, or do we just need to get a regular mattress? The reviews on amazon are positive, but wanted to get more opinions.

a regular mattress. You dont want the baby getting used to only sleeping on a vibrating mattress. then what happens when it grows up? You have to get a new one?

I think its a major waste.

we got it and loved it for a transition from the pack and play basinette- dh slept better with the vibrations to help him go to sleep when he was tiny.

Oh, and for the PP, we've used it without the vibration for more than a year now, and he sleeps great! So not a waste. Plus it was similar in price to other mattresses.

I used to watch a set of twins who would only sleep in their swing or their bouncys that vibrated until their mom found the vibrating mattress. voila! they slept more than 30 minutes in their cribs and their mom finally got the rest she needed at night.  it worked wonders for them.  ALthough for her I don't think it was the actual mattress I think their was something she put on or under the existing mattress to make it vibrate, so you may want to see what your LO likes.....
