BFP at 3 weeks?

I just went off birth control a couple months ago and so I never got a "real" period in between that and when I got my BFP. So I had a very early dating ultrasound to see exactly how far along I was. At the time of the ultrasound I was told that I was 6 weeks and 3 days, which was fine since I had no idea when I ovulated. But then when I thought back to the timeline, that would have meant that I got a BFP when I was exactly 3 weeks pregnant, does that even make sense? So odds are you will get a positive around 10 dpo at the earliest, so I would have ovulated around CD 11?

I was just wondering if anyone else got their BFP so early? or is it possible the ultrasound is off?

I've seen people get BFPs as early as 8dpo. It's very possible that you ovulated earlier in your cycle, CD12ish.

My BFP was at 9dpo so early is definitely possible

I got my BFP this time around at 3.5 weeks. I would have never even tested that early except DH and I had plans to go an amusement park and I didn't want to get on the rides not knowing for sure. Needless to say we cancelled those plans gladly.

I got my BFP at 3.5 wks. The m/s started then too. Ick!

With DS I got a BFP at 3 weeks.

YUp that was me! I O'd on CD 10 got BFP on 10 DPO

I got my BFP on what I thought was CD10-11 but after a dating u/s I was 2 days behind what I thought so I guess it was more like CD8-9. The only reason I tested was to prove to DH that I wasn't pregnant and I proved myself wrong instead. It was my first cycle off BCP and I was convinced my period was going to arrive any day.
