DS car seat is now facing foward, ever since we did that when he falls asleep in the car his head flops i bought him a natures purest neck pillow but it isnt working. I feel so bad for him any advice or tips on something else i can buy thanks!!!
I have considered that but ds turned into a magician over night and kept some way some how getting an arm out of the straps so after talking to his dr and my brother in law who is a police officer they all said for him it might be safer to turn him around............ i was just wondering if anyone hadbought any other types of neck pillows or support for sleeping in the car seats
my daughter's carseat has a boot type thing that comes out and reclines her seat a little bit facing forward. What type of seat do you have? Most have some type of recline feature.
ETA: Never found anything to use that helped besides the reclining.
It's very unsafe to use any sort of after market product with a carseat -- including a neck pillow. I would strongly urge you to turn him back rear facing. It is 500 times safer. If his shoulder was getting out of the harness, the straps were too loose. I don't understand how turning him around would change that.

This! Do the pinch test, if you can pinch the strap it is too loose. He should not be able to get his arm out if the straps are tightened correctly and the buckle is at his armpits.
Re: Car Seat trouble
That's what I would suggest as well. More comfortable when he's sleeping, and significantly safer.
