Baby Monitor HELP!

I have searched back several pages and can not find the help that I am looking for. Everything is on video baby monitors and that's not something that I feel is necessary.

I have read about a baby bargains book? Would someone happen to have one handy that could help me picking out a baby monitor? I am looking for the best buy for the money. The reviews online are not helping me... at all. I just don't know where to begin, I never thought it could be this complicated.

We have this one and thought it worked great- not sure if they still sell it anymore- it's almost 3 years old

I've also heard people like the Sony Babycall.

We upgraded to a video monitor for this baby and LOVE it!

The baby bargains book recommends the sony. It's the one we registered for (and because of my stalking...I now know we have received)

We've also registered for the Sony Babycall - heard great things about it!

I have 2 of the Sony Baby Call monitors. One in each of my boys rooms. In 2006, it was the one recommended by Baby Bargains.

I like that it has something like 27 different channels and since we live and have lived in neighborhoods with lots of houses, having multiple channels makes sure we are not picking up other household monitors, cell phones, cordless phones, etc. Also, the range is great! I take it outside with me and can still hear everything plain as day with no interference.

I have had 1 set for 4 years and the other for 2 1/2 and have had no problems with either.
