Chiropractor

Did anyone see one while pregnant?  I went today, and when I told my Mom where I had been she asked me if I had asked my OB if it was ok.  I honestly never thought about it, but I'll ask tomorrow.

So if you did go, did it help?  I went for my hip pain and the popping in my pelvic bones.  I hope I can get some sleep tonight finally!

Lilypie Second Birthday tickers Congratulations to my girl AmberZ! So happy for you!

Re: Chiropractor

  • I've been having issues with my back and my doctor/peri both recomended seeing a chiropractor who was specialized in maternity for relief. You'll have to let me know if it helps - because I've been on the fence about going. :)

  • I went to the chiropractor weekly or bi-weekly my entire pregnancy.  I thought it helped me out.  My chiropractor is experienced in pregnant patients - he has a special pillow that I used when my belly started to grow.

  • I went to a chiropractor bi-weekly my whole third trimester. It helped immensely with the hip pain I was having, and she made sure my pelvis was in alignment to facilitate a vaginal birth. I really think that was one of the reasons I was able to have a vaginal birth. They had a very hard time getting Tessa out, but I was able to do it vaginally. Had I been out of alignment, I think it would've definitely ended up in a c section.
  • I went throughout my last PG and this one so far. Only thing (besides yoga) that helps my back. God send.  Midwives and docs are fine with it.
