I'm going from BF so I have no idea. I think I'm actually going to keep BF 2 x a day, so should I give another serving of milk at lunch or as a snack? Sorry, I'm so confused.
My son has 16-24 oz a day. He always has an 8 ounce sippy first thing in the morning and before bed. Sometimes, he'll have an additional serving mid-afternoon.
My guy takes in between 24 and 30 a day. Somedays he loves it and asks for that instead of Juice .... sometimes he hates it and I struggle to get my min in
Since you plan to BF twice/day I would ask your pedi about having a weighed feeding. You will have LO weighed before nursing and again after so you have an idea of how much he's drinking per session.
Our pedi told us 16-20 ounces is plenty for DS. He gets 3 sippys of milk per day. Morning, before nap, and before bed.

This. Our pedi said he should be down to a max of 20 oz. per day by 12 months of age.

:-(
DS will drink a MAX of 15oz/day, but it's usually more like 12oz. However, he drinks at least one 6oz sippy of water each day.
