I use (for myself as well) a wet t-towel fold it to the size/shape you need wrap it in saran wrap put it in the microwave heat it to the heat you want, wrap it in a receiving blanket and then put it where you need the heat. Best of all it is free and u can re-heat it as many times as you need to.

Yup you can, I wouldn't wrap food and do it but since you have no intention of putting it in LO's mouth it will be fine. Also when you heat it up the saran wrap will expand (like a balloon) but don't worry it shrinks down to the size of the towel.

I have used it. It helped my LO. It calms her down as well, because of the added warmth. She likes it!
I wrap it around her and then rock her. She usually falls asleep right away after that.
