Umbrella or lightweight strollers??

We have the Uppa Vista and love it, but sometimes we just want something easy and lightweight.  Now that DD is 9 months we were looking into cheap umbrella strolllers but my DH is 6'3" and those are just too short for him.

This is what we would want:

  • light weight
  • folds pretty small
  • less than $100
  • high handlebars or handle that extends
  • reclining seat (nice-to-have)
  • canopy (nice-to-have)

Any ideas?

  • It's not under $100, but from what I've heard it's well worth the extra money - Baby Jogger City Mini.  We have it and are planning on using it for our travel/umbrella stroller.  We also have the UP Vista that we're going to use as our main stroller - I can't wait to bust these out and try them out for real, just a couple more weeks left :-)

  • your price point makes it tough.  I think the closest you're going to come is a Maclaren in the 100s.  My DH is tall too and we went with a Peg Perego Si.  I heard that  the First years ignite stroler is good for tall parents but I don't know many people with the stroller so I couldn't take the risk.
