how many naps does LO take?

DD wakes anywhere between 7:30 and 8:30 during the week(9:30 on the weekends; she usually wakes up while DH gets ready for work during the week.) she takes about 3 naps a day. During the week, the first is between 9:30 & 10 (when she gets tired) and she wakes around 11. So that's an hour/hour and a half. She gets tired again between 12:30 & 1:30, depending on the day. this nap she sleeps until 3-3:30ish. So that's 2-3 hours. Her last nap is from 4:30 until around 6. About an hour and a half. She goes down for the night at 8:30. I feel like she is sleeping too much during the day. Is this a normal nap schedule, or should I cut a nap out?

Mine just cut out their third nap.  At 7 months, their schedule was:

6:30 Up for the day

8-10 Nap

12:30-2 Nap

 5-5:30 Nap

7:30 Down for the night

He usually takes 3 a day.  Most of his naps only last about 30 minutes, though, so sometimes we squeeze in a 4th nap.  He wakes up for the day around 6-630, and goes to bed by 6:30pm.

1-2, but they're usually 2-3 hours long.

I have never tried to force DD into a different nap schedule. She typically gets up around 7/7:30, is up for 2 hours, naps for 2 hours, repeats again in the afternoon, and maybe does a third nap for an hour or less in the late afternoon.

I don't feel like she's sleeping too much. She's vvery active when she's up, she get tired, and she sleeps well (during naps and STTN). When she's ready to drop a nap, I figure she'll do it on her own.

most of the time he does 2/day....sometimes he'll only do 1. he use to do 3/day and he took himself down to 2/day when he was ready.....it was around 7ish months or so.
