Henry received a beautiful puffy snowsuit as a gift (below). However, I'm thinking about returning it because I don't know what to do with it! It's 6-month size, which should fit him perfectly for much of this winter, but I understand that he should not be wearing it in the car seat. We have a Bundle Me instead for his car seat. So, where exactly would he wear this then? He's too little to play out in the snow, and I doubt we'll walk much in the stroller once it gets too cold. If he cant wear it in the car seat, what's it for? Am I missing something?
Re: Speaking of winter coats....
sorry i don't really have an answer to your question...just wanted to say that that is a super cute snowsuit!!
are babies not supposed to wear big jackets/coats in their carseats? is it because it's too bulky in the carseat?
Yes babies should NOT ear bulky jackets/coats in their car seat. I posted a link on my FB page about it too...
As for the snowsuit, Bella had one and never wore it. We took her to the zoo once when it was pretty cold and she wore her normal "coat" aka a fleece and then I had a big fleece blanket all snuggled up around her. It's not like he'll be playing in the snow, yet
I would return it for something that you can use.
