what's better? (diapers)

Do you prefer huggies or pampers for LO?

Thanks

Re: what's better? (diapers)

  • Sorry I can't help--We're doing Seventh Generation diapers.

  • We're going with cloth, but I'll get one pack of Pampers swaddlers while we figure out the cloth schedule.

  • I liked Pampers better when LO was less than 1 yo but once she got moving I like Huggies better.  They seemed to not leak as much.
  • Thanks for the help!
  • We're starting with Pampers, but will switch over if necessary to see what best fits the kids :)

  • We like the 7th generation ones (same price online) but I agree with pp that it's really what fits your kiddo best!
  • I find huggies to be too stiff and I've also had lots of leakage problems.  The swaddlers (by Pampers) were the only thing that worked for us and we tried cloth/hybrid diapers as well.  Seventh generation diapers work well too but are more expensive.

  • I used Pampers until DS was about 8 months old.  Now we only use Target brand.  They are half price and amazing.  I'm not sure how the Newborn and size 1s fit, but I will definitely be trying them out first!

Although I did BF, we supplemented with Target brand formula.  It is also half the price and EXACTLY the same as Enfamil.

  • Pampers always worked great for us.  We never used Huggies until we switched to Pull-Ups.

  • Different diapers work for different babies.  We used everything for the first two and ended up with generic because they worked just as well and were A LOT cheaper!
  • With DD we use Pampers so we'll stick with Pampers for our little boy. Although I might get some Huggies just to see the difference in them with boys. Who knows, Huggies might be better with boys...  ???
