Kirk Cameron - adopted 4 of this 6 kids - awesome

Today at my church Kirk Cameron came to preach, it was awesome.  Hes such an awesome man of God, husband and father.  When I got home I was looking on his website and I found out that his family adopted 4 of their 6 kids.  Ahhh this rocks my world.  Don't know why but I feel like I can so relate to people who have been there.  Just wanted to share haha.

    That's awesome!  I love Kirk Cameron!  Fireproof is an amazing movie and I always loved Growing Pains.  So cool to learn that he has adopted!

    Very cool that he came to your church! I do think somewhere along the way I knew he had adopted! Thanks for sharing, I had forgotten by this point!

    You know Kirk Cameron is like 100% a fruitcake now, right?  He "re-wrote" Charles Darwin's Origin of the Species from a creationist viewpoint, leaving out the chapters he couldn't refute, and distributed it on college campuses.

     

    He believes the earth is 6,000 years old and uses creationist arguments that even most creationists have abandoned.

     

    He also refused to kiss his character's wife in the film Fireproof.

     

    He is a wingnut, and has some out there "babies for Jesus" views on adoption.  But sure, he's swell.

    He made a vow not to kiss any other woman than his wife, that hardly makes him a fruitcake, neither does any of his other views. I'm proud that he hasn't sunk under the pressure of Hollywood and doing kissing scenes with someone other than his wife. He's a respectable man for his devotion to her.

     

    Thank you for posting this, I wasn't aware he had adopted either! I'm so proud of him for not becoming like other Child hood actors!

    Im not really sure why you came to start a fight?  I was happy that a Christian hollywood star adopted 4 kids...we are on an adoption board that is all I wanted to say about him, yay for adoption haha.
